SUMMARY:Eclipse the Nature Center 8k Race & Free Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:the Friends of the Hormel Nature Center and our group is hosting an 8K run (5 miles) along with a free 1-mile "fun run" aimed for kids during the partial eclipse on Sat.\, Oct. 14th\, at the nature center. The 8K starts at 10:00 AM\; 1-mile "fun run" at 10:15 AM.\n\n \n\nTo guarantee an event T-shirt\, registration must be done by Sept. 29th. \n\n \n\nThe partial eclipse should hit its peak around 11:30 AM that morning. Proceeds will go toward "nature play areas" that the Friends are looking to create at the nature center for kids. \n\n \n\nGlasses for viewing the eclipse will be provided to paid participants and sold for $1 to others.
