Know Someone Who Would Be a Great Lifeguard? Maybe It is You! The City of Austin is hiring certified lifeguards (ages 15 and up) for the 2025 summer season (June – August) at our municipal swimming pool. Pay ranges from $13.50 to $16.00 per hour, with flexible schedules during our 7-day-a-week operation. Lifeguards are essential to pool operations and play a key role in keeping all areas open, including the slide, diving well, and main pool, without enough staff, we cannot open all features.
